Limitations of language translation

I remeber studying the limitation that we can face during the Natural Language processing and why computers and algorithms are really inefficient in doing it. The way the natural languages are and the problems we can face in them even during translation is devastating. Today my friend sent me this and this is a real example of the stuff.

1. Go to this page

http://www.google.com.my/language_tools?hl=en

2. :enter the following line into the translate textbox:
Aishwarya's mom is nice and cool

3. translate from english to spanish.

4. copy the translated text, and translate it back from spanish to english


in step 3 you will get this string "La mama de Aishwarya está agradable y fresca"

and in step 4 the result is : "The breast of Aishwarya is pleasant and fresh"

the word mama I guess can mean both mom and breast, but poor program was stupid enough not to understand the context probably.
