It was quite amazing to see a man who was held as a great batsman in the cricket world coming and talking to people about religion. The importance of upholding the spiritual values and maintaining the connection with God. Not that the talk was philosophical, but it had the voice to affect people, because it was the language of the people. When people who are popular or have a solid backing of success in the material world talk about the success in the next world, it seems that people appreciate the idea much more than they would do when they hear from any common preacher.

Saeed Anwar mentioned about how money and wealth need not fulfill all the needs of the people among many other basic, yet important things. About people who have $1000 at hand and needs $2000, people who have $4000 needs $8000 and the necessity keeps on increasing the more and more money you have. People who save money and never get a chance to spend it except for treatment of their illness. People who don't have barakah in their wealth. These are not things that lot of people really care in this world, but for religious people it strikes a chord with their understanding of how the world functions.

May God almightly bless Saeed Anwar in his role and help to bring the wisdom of religion to more people who are far away from their roots and are in deep trouble. It was truly refreshening experience to see such a person in this role.
