Lamp of the beloved memories
I opened the archaic lamp
The long forgotten treasure of mine
It used to burn with all its might
The radiant light from it, so bright
Now I come close, the fumes gush
They race, to outline the beauty of the face
The countenance resemble that of my beloved
Long gone was her memories, yet her face is a heavenly delight
The veils do divulge the radiance hiddenÂ
My prayers are long gone, she is the only reality
My senses are numb, my lust long gone
Just the sobriety of my love keeps me awake
Neither am I hungry nor am I thirsty
Neither milk nor wine do I care for
The rememberance and the rosaries are broken
In her love I realize my existence long gone.
